circle of love

June 25th-July 10th

San Francisco --> Caribbean --> Chicago --> Michigan --> Los Angeles --> Portland --> Los Angeles --> San Francisco

Man am I happy to be home. Lessons learned....

When I eat. I eat well.

One of the greatest things I have adapted to my travels has been packing lunches. So, while you are sitting there eating microwaved Cordon Blue I'm cracking out a mason jar full of roasted beets and fresh greens made with love and grown within 100 miles from my house. YUP. Plane travel is probably the worst experience until you get up there and are peaking out at the world and all it's little squares. Making sure that you are getting well fed guarantees you are not to dead to the world on the other side. GOLD.

This is San Francisco with me everywhere. So, when I come home I can't help but share the wealth. I've paired up with a kid who was born and raised in SF and who now cooks for THE PIZZA PLACE on Noriega and OUTERLANDS while hitting the ground running on his own sh*t. We have collaborated to bust some posters to let kids know you are able to use FOOD STAMPS at the Farmer's market. This is our way of giving back to the community with what we have available. Opening these doors can lead to a grand place for SF residents, making our community a little bit more luscious. YUM. Here are a few pics from the market the other day and posters are coming soon so look out for 'em.

Get it.

What's in your lunch box?

...Cause I've gotta hell-of-a snack pack.
