Northwest Montana

I spent a week last month on a ranch in Montana.

It was a visit to an old friend and to see the lives of those in the mountains.

The life is simple, intimate and lacks the distractions of a city.

One that is much more in touch with the spirit in their natural surroundings.

Their daily routines consist of sustaining that life and learning from that environment.

It is managed by 5.

Food Production, Maintenance, Landscape, Housekeeping, and Director.

Meeting once a week and working for their stay.

Each person has the creative power to design their section of the community and have a say in the direction of the business.

Spacious, simple, curated and lived.

It wasn’t bad at all.

It’s nice to think of starting from scratch to see what you can make of it.

I just wonder if the Times was sent daily doorstep if it would shake their world

It was a successful transition back to San Francisco from New York.
