On New York

Buy a bike.

Camp on your roof.

Organize your shit.

Discuss over dinner.

Simplicity is something that I gravitate towards.

In New York, it’s something you have to concentrate on.

It could be a color combination,

a meal,

a neighborhood,

or a corner in an alley way.

It’s the matter of having the time to experience and distinguish if you want it or not

Better yet,

to be aware that it exists at all.

By the end of my two month stay in the East, the fluidity was gaining speed, but it was time to head home.

Make it rain.

Cause it's sweaty.

GOODBYE NEW YORK, HELLO MONTANA

New York, I shall see you soon.

The Canary Project

I have been following the Canary Project for a few years now.

Something good for the whole. Digs.

They are having a book launch for Paul D. Miller's "Book of Ice" on the 13th of this month in New York.
It would be good to get your head wrapped on it.

When and Where:
Wed July 13,2011 6-9pm
FREE

Info:
For the event at Eyebeam, Miller will team up with Bill McKibben, acclaimed writer and founder of 350.org, along with Green Patriot Poster project curator Edward Morris, Small Planet Institute's Anna Lappé, and several leading theoreticians of graphic design. Miller will also present music interpretations of some of the sonic data as compositions derived from the book and his explorations in Antarctica with a live string quartet, The Telos Ensemble, playing his compositions. At the end of the evening, there will be a book signing, and open social event themed on Antarctica, including a selection of remixes produced by Paul commissioned by the German public radio.

The Creatures - Standing There

I inherited this cassette along the way. It's been one of my favorites. Witchy.

Enjoy
