4th of July in Michigan

4th of July is celebrated in the grandest of ways when you travel East. It's all done with a bit more of a patriotic heart. Motorcycles, kiddie pools, brews, and a whole lot of illegal fireworks. Success. 4th with the fam in Standish, Michigan. Boondocks on the Bay.

portland and the washougal river

Making best use of my time...

On a job in Portland for a few days. 1st time.

CLUTCH CAMERA via the 4 bus line, haircut at Rudy's, Dinner with Mr. Kelly and the kids at Clyde Commons. 16 hour shoot day. Am drive drop then a trip to the Washougal in Washington before a pm flight down to Los Angeles to continue.

When it all fits in like a little round peg, it feels real nice. This is how I found the Missississippi Rec Tape Series. New, good friends are a success.

bass lake

I have to remember that mid week day trips are essential to my well being.

BASS LAKE at the turn of Spring with Diz, Noah, and his lady. The water was a bit cold, but damn it felt good. 3 mile hike in Pt. Reyes, dip, beer sippin' and snack time, hike out. We stopped by Barry McGee's exhibit at the Bolinas museum on our way out. Yum.

Here are a few of Diz snaps from the day.
If you are wondering about the epic bags, check Noah's site here

blue on blue.
enjoy.
